Morris Muter is the managing director of Dysart Developments. Morris has been involved in property development in the North East for more than 30 years, mostly through his family company, Millhouse Developments. Major projects he has led include the refurbishment of Tynemouth Station and the development of Chase Farm in Blyth.

A keen amateur pilot and former president of the Newcastle Aero Club, Mr Muter spotted the potential in Dysart's reputation, property management portfolio and future developments, purchasing the business from its founder in October 2004.

He is now giving new impetus to Dysart, moving the company into the residential property sector for the first time and, through his position as MD of Project Genesis, accelerating redevelopment of the Consett steelworks site. In addition, he is looking to further develop and improve existing sites, such as Newcastle Business Park.
